Man steals pizza delivery truck, takes dough
Highlight of RedEye’s Wrigleyville crime blotter:
An unknown male in his 20s took off with a 30-year-old male’s Chicago Pizza delivery truck after the delivery man stopped into a Currency Exchange at Diversey Parkway and Clark Street, according to reports. The delivery man told police he then hailed a cab and followed the delivery truck for blocks on Clark Street before losing sight of it. The truck was recovered in an alley on Belden Avenue off Clark Street in Lincoln Park with 10 trays of pizza dough missing. No arrests.
